WAY FORWARD AFTER THE SLAP ON THE FACE

Former governor of Nigeria's Bayelsa state, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha (R), waving to sympathisers outside court in Lagos, next to his lawyer Mike Ozekhome (24 January 2006)

The stories of Nigeria and Nigerians is becoming very annoying as the day go by, the news oozing out of this country to the international world everyday is becoming irritating or let me say hitching to the ears. Nigeria is place where all manner things happen, it a place where looters of national treasuries are given presidential pardon. It a place where government official steal millions of billions because nobody their ask them. It a place where Public servant rob the old retirees of their personal entitlement after they have saver their fathers land faithfully and go Scot free. That not just all about Nigeria, please remember they people made of different special of human being. Those with common sense which they say are never common and some are clueless that they don’t even know their constitutional right not to talk of knowing when to act and when to keep quiet against the state. Nigeria is a place where all manner of people attain public post and then call them the Elite. Who to me doesn't even know what it means to be an Elite in a society of sane men.

The issue that made me to delpable like my lecturer will say’ into writing this article is the story of Alamiyeseigha the Ex-convict who stole billion of naira from the people of Bayelsa and Nigerians during his tenure as governor of the state, the man that president Jonathan was his Deputy governor. A man who bought a wrist watch for 1million naira and people of Bayelsa have no drinkable water and dying in prunery. It is this same man that our clueless president has found worthy of receiving the Presidential Pardon. Oh! My God what has become of the days when partakers of evil act are banish from the society for their bad deed and made to bear the consequent of their actions? Let even forget about this society of old where morality flourish and ask the question, why has Jonathan turned the sacred seat of the President to foot mat? Please what plague is ravaging my beloved country?

Where are the millions of the vibrate and dunged youth of these great nation? Isn't this a very Big slay on our face, that in our time this 70 and 80 years Old grandpa’s leading this country to doom. And before you ask me what of Me just a remember a tree doesn't make a forest, I can’t fight on my own and It paining me to my marrow. Where are those Nigerians of January 2012 during the Oil subsidy protest? Where those Youth who can turn all odds against them to awesome opportunities, who are clamoring for CHANGE? Or shall we sit down tight and let this fail generation and these fail Jonathan government and cohort of Masquerade steal our Nation dry. Are we going to sit down and allow this conglomerate of fools destroy the future of our yet unborn children? What has happen to spirit of Arabs Winters blowing all over the world. Why not proofs to the world that we not Coward (Nigeria youth), who sleeps with their hands fold why their tomorrow is being wash down the sink of Self centerness. Let tell our grannies that we are not the “ I don’t care what happen Generation”.

Please pardon me if this write-up has being asking so many question because I don’t know when the Youth of this nation want to start asking the question of equalities before the law, Of people oriented policies, of how our Councilor, chairmen, honorable and senator  contributed to the development of their local areas, of how our government official spend money meant for project. It a thing of shame when people an Oil producing country like Nigeria buys Fuel for as high as 150, 100 naira per liter. Cos I can’t just understand the logic of economics in this. Am tired of reading different articles online complaining and lambasting government and it officials. Mr Omojuwa.com, Team Ekekeee.com Oga Nedu, Egbas, @Ayourb, Mr Debo Adejugbe and all notedable Nigerians. I think it time we move our online activism to every street of Nigeria. We need to tell the President and his cabals of loose cannons that the timing youth are not happy with their policies and decision lately.

The President need to know that the post he is occupying for the main time is a sacred office. That every dignities that abode in ASO ROCK is being blow away  when people like Alamiyeseigha, James Ibori, Bode George, Otedola and Farock Lawan are strolling our Street and being given presidential pardon. This I call the greatest slap on the face of 160million Nigerians. We need to let  them know we are still existing because it seem nobody give a dame of our Opinions or whatever decision or policies that are being taking this days not even GEJ, Abati or Omokiri of these world. In stand they use the term “the children of Anger” to describe us. Why don’t we show and tell them how angry and bitterer we are at the present state of things in this country and some unreasonable decision being taking by our President. Cos as the days go by the future of our yet unborn generation look more blood red and darken or shall should we sit and look why we are being driven to 18 century again by Ebele Jonathan and their wicked and evil cabals who mean no well for this nation. Or must we wait till 2015 before we demand GEJ resign and leave office because he not mentally fit to occupy the post of the President of the most populous black nation in the world.

Like my people in great Ife will say way forward. And my ways way forward out of this GEJ ways of ruling this country is asking him to resign and leave and if he refuse. What happened in January 2012 should come up again but this time around no round table talks with any government officials and our demand is PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN MUST GO. Eledumare bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Suggestions and comments are welcome please.
